This dancer has the stylized garments and elaborate headdress commonly found in sculptures by Chiparus. Base is heavy faux marble with a brass plate on the front. Sculpture is made of hand-painted resin in tones of silver-grey and turquoise, with matte finish arms, legs and face. Her flowing dress is dark turquoise with black accents, the textured bodice is black with purple and gold painted accents.
This figurine is relatively rare, and looks very elegant. Size: 14" tall, 10" at widest point. No chips, nicks, scratches or breaks - in like-new condition. Hang tag states: The Objet d'elegance collection reflects the vibrant colors, simple geometric shapes, and elegant sophistication of the Art Deco style of the 20's and 30's.
